I have been reading Jill Mansell’s books for about 7 years now and I’ve never really stuck to one author like I do her. I don’t know if it’s because I started reading them at an age where I was so naive about love and life that I have such an attachment to them, or if it’s simply that they’re easy-going novels that restore hope that romance isn’t dead, and that chance can lead to many a great thing.
Her books all have a strong romantic theme, and sometimes they’re slightly predictable. When I put it like this, it makes it sound like her books are pretty boring and unexciting, but the point is they’re NOT! Jill has a way with words that make her characters feel like they’re you girlfriends, as well as your heroines and hope restorers. Her stories unfold at a natural pace, and her way with I personally, would like nothing more than to live in one of her stories.
